Who is this for? Young girls in the entertainment business (5-18), AND their parent/guardian/influencers. *If a person is Legal 18, they can come on their own (must be able to provide documentation).

This G.U.T GATHERING is for young girls in the entertainment industry AND those who influence them. We encourage parents, guardians, fathers, mothers, grandparents, neighbors, role models, etc. to join us - as it is very much for them, too!
The purpose of the event is threefold:
1. To connect with your child,
2. To learn and practice to uplift yourself and others at auditions, on set, and in the various experiences you have as a young girl/guardian in the industry, and
3. To create an experience that is uplifting to the mind, body, and heart!
The event will be structured, but also very relaxed, with the intention to infuse uplifting energy into everyone! All attendees will have a chance to win in our raffle! Prizes include: Nina Shoes, a box from kidpik, a gift package from OMG Sew Cute, a G.U.T surprise, BeautyCounter, and something for the men!

G.U.T GIVES with ZURI LOVE
We proudly collected 180+ pairs of socks, 90+ scarves, 20+ hats, and 35+ blankets to give back to the homeless. We have donated half of that to Fill-A-Belly.
In addition, G.U.T GIVES back 10% of all ticket sales to a charity that aligns with the G.U.T VALUES. This means that Fill-A-Belly will also be getting ten brand new sleeping bags to distribute to the homeless!
Learn to Navigate through the Tough 'Biz Waters
There are many ways to support with the rollercoaster of emotions the different parts of the business can bring. There will be dance, yoga, guided imagery, and interactive exercises related to the entertainment business, incorporating the G.U.T VALUES and PLEDGE - all of which will be broken down into delicious, easily digestible timeframes.
AIMEE CLARK, Facilitator

Aimee is the founder of the Girl Uplifters Team™. She will be teaching simple holistic techniques to support both talent and guardians with feeling grounded and confident through some of the challenging parts of what the entertainment business can bring. Dressed as a super hero - her intention is to do all of this is a fun and uplifting way!
She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has an additional degree in Holistic Psychology. She combines body-mind techniques to support individuals, couples, and groups.
She is also the mother of two young girls in the business. Throughout the years, she has supported many new parents with understanding how the 'biz works and is currently working on a book about raising a healthy kid in Hollywood with her friend and fellow parent in the industry: Samantha Estevez.
COURTNEY DAY, Our Yogi

Courtney is a yoga instructor for people of all ages - and one of our main yogis at the Girl Uplifters Team™ events. Teaching yoga on the mat or in a classroom is where you can find Courtney Day.
She started her yoga journey training at If I Was a Bird Yoga in San Diego, then she was hired as a wellness/yoga teacher at El Camino Creek Elementary in Encinitas. While finishing her Masters in teaching for General Education and Special Education, Courtney stays busy as an Instructional aide within the Encinitas school district, teaches spin at Sparkcycle in Lajolla, and teaches kids yoga at Buddhi in La Jolla as well!
Her plan was to always be a classroom teacher... but her practice in yoga has created so many opportunities for her to implement the practice of yoga inside and outside the classroom. Her purpose in life is to help children.
BONNIE J. WALLACE, Speaker
We are very grateful and excited to announce our special guest speaker, Bonnie J. Wallace - acting career coach, author of “The Hollywood Parents Guide: Your Roadmap to Pursuing Your Child's Dream”, and mother to the talented Dove Cameron.
She is revered amongst her peers and the top LA acting coaches – and is a passionate advocate for helping parents support their kid’s dreams, creating and producing the Hometown to Hollywood podcast, developing powerful online programs, consulting, speaking, writing blog posts, researching, and working on her next book.
Bonnie will share about her journey, some basic principles that can make a true difference for success at any stage of a young actor’s career, and how to stay uplifted along the way. She will have copies of her books there, which are a must have if you are a parent in the business!

We are so incredibly proud and excited to announce that Lily will be performing a song she has written specifically for the Girl Uplifters Team™! At 16, she has already established herself as a singer and songwriter.

DAMONI
Damoni is a 15-year-old singer/songwriter from Orange County, CA. She has performed at various locations in Southern CA such as Simi Valley Music Festival, OC Fair, House Of Blues and at several charity events. Currently she is writing and recording original music in the studio. Damoni's passion for music started at the very young age of three, when she was already memorizing full songs. She had her first performance when was seven in Las Vegas where she sang John Lennon's "Imagine" and silenced the crowd with her soulful tone.

Special Notes...
We want to uplift those organizations who are aligned with what we do. So, each G.U.T event will dedicate 10% of all ticket sales to a specific charity! For this event, we have chosen Zuri Love. We will be collecting blankets, scarves, and socks for the homeless as well!
WE TRUST YOU WILL LOVE THIS EVENT! We have created this event to leave all attendees feeling uplifted. If for some reason you did not get that loving feeling, we will refund minus the donation and administrative fees of $5 ($7.50 total).
NO-SHOWS. Your spot is reserved just for you. Please provide 72 hours notice if you cannot attend a G.U.T event for a full refund, minus the donation and administrative fees. If for some reason you do not attend with no explanation, you will be offered the amount of your ticket towards the next event.
